As a very experienced product designer, I’m passionate about solving complex problems. I seek to understand human context and to solve the right problems in the right way through collaborative design and experimentation. I am a systems thinker who can spot the fine details that can make or break a big idea. I care deeply about humans and human connection.
I have extensive experience in business discovery, user research, information architecture, interaction design, and incorporating design systems. I collaborate with the product triad, cross-functional partners, stakeholders, and users. I am an influential and trusted partner in product strategy and have an eye for making connections across systems and product spaces.
Overall, my fundamental goal as a UX designer is to help users feel more confident, competent, efficient, and successful in their daily digital experiences. My desire is to help make that time more enjoyable and fulfilling.
Design Philosophies
Smooth, seamless flow
The user should be able to move through an experience in they way they would expect. Process flows & journey maps are my jam!
Clean, clear, consistent
UI components, visual elements, language should be simple and consistent throughout.
User tested
Experiment early, often, scrappily, and quickly. Test with a paper prototype, a mock in a spreadsheet — whatever it takes to iterate.
The right problem is addressed
First step, identify problems through contextual understanding and empathy. Solving the wrong problem is painful and costly.
right data & content at the right time
Provide just the right amount of information for the user to make confident decisions throughout the experience.
User lingo, not business lingo
Seek to understand the language of the user and then use it. They don’t speak the internal lingo of your company.
